Using this site

This site is operated by Upliftiq Renovation Sdn Bhd (registration 1493728-P) for the purpose of informing prospective clients about our renovation and fit-out services. All content on the site, including text, photographs, illustrations and project case studies, is the property of Upliftiq or used under licence. You are welcome to read, share links to, and quote from this content for non-commercial purposes with attribution.

Enquiries and proposals

Submitting an enquiry through the contact form or by email does not, on its own, create a contractual relationship. A proposal we send you is valid for 21 days from the date of issue, after which we reserve the right to revise pricing in line with supplier costs and team availability. No work begins until both parties have signed a written contract.

Project contracts

Every Upliftiq project is delivered under a written contract that supersedes any informal communication, marketing material, or content on this site. In the event of any discrepancy between this site and your signed contract, the contract governs.

Our standard contract terms include itemised scope of work, fixed price (with separately quoted variations), Gantt programme, payment schedule, contingency mechanism, defect liability period (12 months from handover), insurance certificates, and dispute resolution clause. We are happy to share a redacted specimen contract on request before you commit to engaging us.

Limitations on the studio site

The dispatches section is editorial commentary based on our practical experience. It does not constitute structural engineering, legal, or regulatory advice. For specific advice on your property, you must engage a suitably qualified professional — whether that is us or someone else.

Photographs of past projects are reproduced with the consent of the owners and depict the projects as they appeared at the time of handover. We cannot guarantee specific finishes, suppliers or product lines remain available for new projects.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability arising from your use of this site (as distinct from any contracted project) is limited to the sum you have paid us for services, if any. For project contracts, liability is governed by the relevant signed contract and is typically capped at the contract value.

Governing law

These terms and any project contract are governed by the laws of Malaysia, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. Where a project is delivered in a specific state, local consumer protection regulations also apply.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above is the authoritative version date. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for thirty days following publication.
